What this policy covers
This policy covers Lumopi (lumopi.com) and the games delivered on this site, operated by KANIYONIKA. Other game platforms and linked websites have their own privacy policies.
Information used today
Language preference: When you switch languages, a functional cookie (lumopi_locale) stores your English or Japanese choice for up to one year. It selects your language at the site entrance, not for advertising or tracking. Without a saved choice, we use your browser’s preferred languages.
Game saves: Your progress, records and settings such as sound preferences stay in your browser’s local storage. There are no accounts or cloud saves, and the save feature does not send your saved game data to our servers. Saves are not shared across devices, browsers or websites.
Delivery and security: We use Cloudflare, Inc. to deliver the site. Cloudflare processes technical information such as IP addresses, access times, requested resources and browser information for delivery, troubleshooting and protection against misuse.
Enquiries: We use the email address, name, message and other information you send us to reply, investigate issues and keep a record of our response. We use Gmail (Google) to receive and send emails. We do not send enquiry content to advertising or analytics tags.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to improve the site and games and understand usage and how visitors find us. In every region, analytics runs only after you allow it. Pages visited, games opened, display language, referring sites, engagement and session information, device and browser details, approximate location and cookie identifiers are sent to Google. A game page visit is not a gameplay action or completion; we do not currently send custom events for those actions.
We do not send names, email addresses, phone numbers or enquiry content to analytics. We remove query strings and fragments from reported page URLs, and paths and queries from reported referrals. Optional GA4 data sharing, Google signals, user-provided data collection and ads personalization are disabled. We do not send User-ID or use analytics data for advertising.
GA4 retention is set to 2 months for event data and 14 months for user data. New user activity resets the user-data expiry to 14 months from that activity. These limits do not apply to standard aggregated reports, which may remain longer. Analytics cookies (_ga and names beginning with _ga_) last for up to 180 days; renewal on each visit is disabled.
Tag management
We use Google Tag Manager (GTM) to connect GA4 after analytics consent. GTM itself is not loaded before you choose or if you decline. When loaded, Google processes information normally included in HTTP requests, such as IP addresses. We have not installed advertising tags.
Ads displayed on Lumopi
We may display Google AdSense and H5 game ads to help fund the site and games. No ads are currently being served. When ads are enabled, information such as ad impressions and clicks, cookie or similar identifiers, IP addresses, and device and browser details may be sent to Google and advertising providers for ad delivery, measurement, frequency control and fraud prevention.
If personalized advertising is enabled, Google and advertising providers may use cookies or similar technologies to serve ads based on your previous visits to Lumopi and other websites. We will identify the providers and explain the available choices and opt-outs before ads begin.
Ads promoting Lumopi
We may advertise Lumopi on other websites and services. To measure these campaigns, ad click identifiers, referrals and actions such as visits or game starts may be sent to the selected advertising service, such as Google Ads. Before starting this measurement or advertising aimed at returning visitors, we will explain the services, purposes and information involved and obtain any required consent.
Your choices and controls
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Deleting the language cookie removes your language choice. Clearing site data or local storage also removes your game progress, records and settings.
Analytics starts only if you choose Allow analytics. You can play if you decline. Your choice is stored for 180 days in functional local storage (lumopi_analytics_consent_v1). Change or withdraw it through Analytics preferences in the site footer or the game's settings. Withdrawal stops analytics and deletes analytics cookies, then reloads the page to terminate loaded tags. It does not automatically delete information already sent.
Reading this policy or playing does not give consent to advertising or analytics. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, analytics is disabled. We do not sell or share personal information for advertising purposes.
You can manage personalization of Google ads on partner sites through the settings below. The scope of these settings depends on your sign-in status and browser. Turning personalization off does not remove all ads. On supported browsers, the Google Analytics opt-out add-on is another option; it does not block all other analytics, advertising or site storage.
Service providers and overseas processing
Information is passed to services used for the delivery and enquiry-handling purposes described above, as needed for those purposes. Once collection starts, transmission to Google advertising and measurement services will depend on the features and settings enabled. We do not provide personal data to third parties without required consent, except where permitted by law.
Services such as Cloudflare and Google may process information in the United States or other countries outside Japan. Their privacy policies explain how they use and protect it.
Retention and protection
The language cookie lasts for up to one year. Game saves remain until you or your browser remove the site data. We keep enquiries only as long as needed to respond, resolve related issues and meet legal obligations, and delete information when no longer needed. Retention by external services also depends on their settings and policies.
We limit access to information to what is needed and use measures such as encrypted connections and protection of service credentials to help prevent disclosure, unauthorized access and loss.

We will update this page and its date when our services or information practices change. Before advertising or measurement begins, we will reflect the active features and settings here and provide any notices or obtain any consent required by law.
